
The Picture Framers Guild of Australia delivers expert and professional advice to its members in respect of all employment matters.
Members are encouraged to seek advice by the telephone.
Members will be kept up to date via email and newsletters.
Members will also receive invitations to seminars and workshops.
The Picture Framers Guild is able to arrange representation for its members in industrial tribunals. Members are advised that there is a consultancy fee for the provision of this service.
The following services are available to the members of the PFGA.
Members are able to receive expert and professional advice in respect of workplace issues relating to wage rates, conditions of services, disciplinary procedures, termination entitlements, employment documentation, long service leave, occupational health and safety, workcover and superannuation.
Members in each state are able to access copies of the relevant wage rates for manufacturing, clerical and retail employees.
Members are able to purchase copies of relevant Awards directly from the PFGA.
Assistance is available to members in the development of Employment Contracts and Collective Agreements.
The PFGA is able to review, prepare and advise in respect of Employment Contracts and Agreements for managerial, full time, part time and casual employees.
Members are advised that there is a consultancy fee for the provision of this service.
The PFGA provides telephone advice in respect of wage rates and conditions of employment for apprentices and trainees.
Advice and assistance is available to members re; the employment of apprentices and trainees, including direct links and introductions with organisations responsible for the management of these training services.
Employment Application forms; Offer of Employment letters, induction procedures and other relevant documents are available.
Copies of various Employee Policies and Procedures are available and are readily adaptable to reflect members' requirements.
